Electric Highways is a short, free, atmospheric puzzle game about wandering through various 'electric' worlds in search of one last burst of emotion before the main character logs off from his virtual world for the last time.
The game is fast, fast-paced, and entrancing. Every virtual world presented is evocative and thoughtful. It brings you into the Russian soul and makes you wander a mile. Fundamentally, there is no reason not to play this game.
The only questions left by the game are what it is trying, exactly, to express. It definitely expresses the general restlessness and forlorn Russian nature, which many of its authors and directors have captured nicely.
Beyond this, I don't think it has anything else to say. It is sad and weeping, but it must not cry, because one only cries when there is truly a need, and it can never admit to itself, it is in need. This is the general Russian expression.
